So my friends and I are heading to Dewey for a few days before the festival. Can any of you local folks help me out with a few places I may not otherwise check out?? Just some off the beaten path bars or places to eat or whatever really... We will be there Wednesday and Thursday night if that matters at all. Thanks!

Dewey is more of a party town. Not too many good restaurants around.
If you're looking for a chill place to eat I reccomend Zoggs in Rehoboth which is 10 minutes from Dewey. Its a chill rum bar with other 150 varieties of rum. The food is really good too.

I am traveling with a group from Pittsburgh Thursday morning and we would like to check out Dewey or Rehoboth, but we have already have a hotel in Dover for that night. Since we are all heavy drinkers, is there any kind of bus line or other cheap method of travel from Dover and back?

When I party in Dewey, I like to hit Northbeach (its on the water and part of the bar floor is sand- bayside... they also make killer orange crushes!), the Starboard (they have beer pong tables) and sometimes the Rusty Rudder (they are also on the water - bayside - but have a nice large deck). Have fun! Enjoy!
