This was probably the best 3 days of music I've ever encountered. It seemed like every band I saw brought more and more energy to their performance. It was nice to meet a few of you and definitely an awesome experience for me. A couple of people I didn't even know/recognize came up to me to thank me for the site. Made a couple of new friends who I spent the weekend with and will have a friendship beyond this festival. I would like to thank everybody again for joining this board and I hope it helped. See you guys next year

Paul - thank YOU for taking the time to start this board - I think it helped a lot of people. Especially with Firefly being in its first year, there were a lot of people with questions and a lot of confusion. Having this board and having you be so responsive with information was huge for a lot of folks.
Our family had an amazing time and even though there were some kinks to be worked out, we encountered so many patient, good people. The musicians themselves were amazing - my kids got to meet at least 8 or 9 bands and were over the moon about it.

How did you get to meet the bands?

a lot of bands were out walking around.
I saw grouplove riding around in a golf cart all day. A volunteer friend saw the lead singer of the killers just walking around the main stage area.

Yeah - they were walking around just hanging out all over the place. Some, like Mariachi El Bronx, came down in front of the stage and just shot the breeze with folks right after their set.

Brandon Flowers walked right passed me in the main concert area and I didn't even realize it until he was walking backstage. I really need to pay better attention at these things.
