I tried like hell to put a top ten list together, but it was just too tough. I had too many "categories", like "Band I came away with a new appreciation for" = (it WAS Imagine Dragons, but since Firefly, they've proceeded to COMPLETELY SELL OUT) and "Band who completely phoned it in" = Modest Mouse (they just sounded salty from being added as a replacement for Passion Pit). I think the best dance set (for me) went to Girl Talk and I really liked The Killers set too. For me personally, the one that really moved me the most that weekend was John Legend.

Modest Mouse hates when the crowd only knows 'float on.' Most of the time they don't even play it. I like a lot of their older stuff but I didn't see them because they have a history of being salty.

I don't know if it was really as bad as being salty, but their performance just kind of sat there, like a bump on a log. When dude broke his guitar string, he just stared at it like "whelp, that happened..." I took a little power nap in the grass at that point.

Oh, and Paul I saw Fitz and the Tantrums with you and Johnna and I think they were one of my top two for the weekend too...
