My Suggestions Reptar: This one of the bands I am most excited about, even though the new cd isn't flawless there are like 7 songs that are actually amazing, this band just has talent oozing from them
Walk The Moon: This band is about to blow up and they should. They are absolutely incredible live. Check them out will not be disappointed.
Fitz & The Tantrums: Just listen and no its still the 21st century
Flaming Lips: I've been waiting forever to see this band, I really hope they play a set a night for their live show. Should be a one of the most memorable sets of the weekend

I can add a couple of others
Charles Bradley and his Extraordinaires: Charles used to be a James Brown cover singer. His voice is really amazing. Good sound and some good blues, can't go wrong with that.
Trampled by Turtles: A blue grass country group from Minnesota. These guys have a lot of hype around them.
Awolnation
Mariachi El Bronx: A American mariachi band, really into them.

Just ordered up my wristband!
Pretty excited to see AWOLNATION as well. Just started listening to them, and I think they have a very cool sound.

Lower Case Blues is the only local band to play the festival. They will probably gain a lot of fans after the festival

Matt Costa has a pretty cool sound and i totally agree with trampled by turtles and cults.
Edit: Jack White also. just saw him on tuesday night and he was awesome the entire set. plays some deadweather, racontuers, white stripes covers as well but with a different flavor than the orginal versions. i enjoyed myself quite thoroughly

Definitely have to check out Kids These Days. They are a very slept on group from Chicago (I think) but they have the best blend of hip hop and jazz that I have ever heard. Tight lyrics and smooth vocals makes them one of my favorites

AWOLNATION, Graffiti6, Cults, Ra Ra Riot, Bombay Bicycle Club -- all are amazing and I only got into them because of Firefly. But I'm so glad I did!
I have seen Reptar live, they put on an excellent show.
