Those who live near Dover, what's the weather like there in the middle of the summer? What should we be expecting?

I live in Dover.
Expect it to be hot and humid. If you are camping make sure to bring plenty of shade. The camp grounds aren't shaded very well. Inside the festival is well shaded though

inside the festival is 87 acres and its surrounded by trees all the way around. Should provide plenty of shade

OK, I'll make sure to brings some tarps for shade then. And how is it at night?

Night time it will probably be in the 70s, cooler than during the day and not as humid.
Of course it could all change if we have a heat wave. The weather has been pretty mild so far so I'm hoping it doesn't get much hotter in July

Well the Delaware state fair is the same weekend so the saying around here is that it always rains and storms during the fair. So be prepared for rain. Umbrellas double up as shade and rain protection. Rain boots are a good idea too. I have seen it in the hundreds with chilly evening you shouldn't need a birdie or boots but better safe than sorry
