only 4, not too bad but I'll probably just have to see half sets from most of these bands.

Awolnation vs. Bombay Bicycle Club Bassnectar vs. Silversun Pickups Girl Talk vs. Flaming Lips The Head & The Heart vs. Reptar Young The Giant vs. Graffiti6
Why Firefly why?!? These are basically all the bands I wanted to see at Firefly. Conflicting with each other. ): But like the above poster said, my friends and I plan on seeing half a set of each of these artists, especially since most of them are an hour or an hour & 1/2 sets.

They did an amazing job especially compared to many other festivals I've been to - it's clear they put a lot of thought on how to construct this lineup. Conflicts are just an opportunity to see someone you hadn't planned on seeing.

I agree with constructing the schedule. I like how almost every band gets an hour set too.

I don't have too many conflicts but I narrowed it down by choosing the ones I haven't seen. The ones that are still overlapping I am splitting my time.

the modest mouse vs trampled by turtles timeslot is going to be a conflict for me. i feel like the majority of people will be heading to Modest Mouse so i can probably get a nice spot for Trampled. thnking about splitting my time 75:25 and just catching the end of Modest Mouse, but as with all things festival, this is subject to change.

Chatting with a friend the other day he has these suggestions for me: PASSION PIT & LUPE FIASCO Lupe kills it, but if you're in an altered state go see Passion Pit ("They'll probably be better in any altered state of mind that trends towards euphoria or enjoyment of the joyful cinema"). Lupe Fiasco is more about being a great storyteller in rap. (And you can always go see Lupe, and then the Passion Pit DJ set later at the "exclusive" concert) MAYER HAWTHORNE & OK GO: Go see ALL of Mayer and then catch the end of OK GO, because Mayer Hawthorne is way better. WALK THE MOON & JOHN LEGEND: Lean towards feeling it out with Walk the Moon. They are cool and indie. It's fun and fresh and makes you feel like you're DJing college radio. BASSNECTAR & SILVERSUN: "Probably recommend Bassnectar over Silversun just because he's more... epic?" You'll have to be ready though, people there will be going nuts and it will be intense. The crowd will be more fun there for sure. THE KNOCKS & GROUPLOVE: "Holy shit! I'd chose The Knocks over Grouplove any day, if only to dance to this track all day long: www.youtube.com/watch?v=2gbZwWfD4I0&feature=related" (My friend then threw in the fact that he is quite biased...) CAKE & CHIDDY BANG: Choose Cake over Chiddy Bang for sure. Not that Chiddy Bang isn't incredible, but Cake probably won't tour again after a few more years. MODEST MOUSE & TRAMPLED BY TURTLES: Consider splitting time, but spend most of your time at Modest Mouse. ----- Hopefully this was coherent enough. Of course, these suggestions are purely opinion given to me based on my own personal music tastes, but hopefully it might help shed some light onto your own choices.

I wouldn't say this is a major conflict, but has anyone seen Blind Pilot live? I was sure I would go to Heartless Bastards, but I was listening to Blind Pilot this week, and they're pretty good.

I saw about 20 min. of their set at Bonnaroo. Enjoyed it...but they are pretty mellow and were on too big of a stage in my opinion. I like their album. I haven't heard anything about Heartless Bastards live, but my friend I'm going with loves them, so we will be going that way. Just by listening to their albums they have the potential to really rock live. I hope so!

I've seen OK Go 3 times now...and they BRING IT every time. Mayer Hawthorne is great (on record, haven't see him live), but I'm not sure if I'll be in a chill mode come this set time. Don't count OK Go out though! They will be energetic and FUN. I love Silversun, but might have to check out some of the Bassnector insanity!

I've seen OK GO at Bonnaroo before. I wasn't really impressed. I'm not a huge fan of theirs but gave them a chance. Really didn't do it for me
