What to bring? Anyone staying at a hotel in Dover? I'm staying at this Super 8 and was wondering if it's walkable to the event?

if you are staying at a hotel then you don't need to bring as much stuff as us campers.
Here is a small list of things I would bring if I were you:
bug spray sun block (keep this with you at all time) camelbak - easy way to have water and stay hydrated comfortable pair of shoes bandana's hat
for a full list check out the thread in glamping thats labeled 'things you need to bring' its at the top of the page

Aloe for sunburn if it occurs. Bring seat covers and clorox wipes for the porta potties. It will be a life saver

my main advice is: Stay Hydrated! drink water even when you aren't thristy. it will go a long way to helping you make it through the whole day feeling good. if you are drinking alcohol try to at least have half a bottle of water for each beer/wine/liquor whatever you have.

I brought ear plugs to Bonnaroo and they were a lifesaver. I know the sets won't be going past 11 at Firefly, but if you want to sleep when everybody around you is partying and carrying on, ear plugs can save you some trouble!

here's my list - 1. - research the bands you haven't heard before the fest. The best thing is finding new bands you really like and getting to see them! I go thru the line-up, check the bands I don't know, then set up a slacker channel with them (slacker.com is great for really customizing stations) 2. Camelbak's as everyone says, but add a few slices of lemon or just some juice as filling station water usually doesn't taste to good, especially luke warm. I also add some ice before I head in, but they may not allow that. Ask at the bar booths for some when they're not busy. 3. - umbrella's are not just for rain, they offer good shade on those super hot days at the main stage areas that often don't have any shade. 4. - ladies, bring toilet paper (especially on day 2 &3) 5. extra poncho's. When it rains you often need to cover more than yourself, and then if you want to sit on the ground after it rains... Garbage bags work in a pinch and don't take up as much space. 6. wash cloth / baby wipes for quick clean ups 7. extra t-shirt obviously you should have at least one person in your group with a backpack for this stuff 8. - don't count on cell service - at peak times from 6pm to 11pm you may not be able to even text (even if they bring in extra towers) depending on your provider (att is notoriously bad) - so have back-up plans if you get separated from your group to meet at the end of the night 9. Bring plenty of cash so you don't get socked with those huge surcharges at the atm's
