The campgrounds will open at 6am on Friday. The festival gates on Friday don't open until 2.
Gates on the other 2 days open at 11am. Gates on all days will close at 11pm. I'm guessing this has to do with a city ordinance. Everybody knows the campgrounds will be partying all night.

It sounds like shows will be going past 11 but the gates will be closed to entry

This is one of my main concerns with Firefly since its an inaugural festival they don't answer questions like these for the people who don't know what to expect. If the festival had been around for awhile you could just ask about previous years but they don't answer your questions

Well thats why I started this thing. They usually reply on twitter, at least they have replied to me a couple of times. The Campground quiet hours don't start until 1 or 2. I just don't see them expecting people to just hang at their camp site/hotel. I did read today that the beer garden will be outside the festival grounds. I'm still not sure about the winery

All good things to know! Even if the music stops at 11p, its awesome knowing that the beer garden is still within reach. Excellent.

Thanks for the answers Paul, can you ask firefly if they are gonna let you walk around with your drink ie. Bonnaroo or if you will only be able to drink alcohol in designated beer gardens ie. Coachella

I did read today that the beer garden will be outside the festival grounds. I'm still not sure about the winery Well that stinks because one day passers can't leave festival grounds and re-enter. That seems like an ill thought out plan, especially since they mention they want you to pair food and wine with the food you purchase there.
