My group of 4 got 2 campsites, but we plan on just parking one vehicle. Does anyone know if this is going to be a problem? It shouldn't be a problem to have 2 adjacent lots, right?

I think it will be a problem if you don't have 2 vehicles

oh no. I hope not. We have 3 people and two camp sites with the plan of two separate tents. Was psyched about having a bit of extra space without the extra vehicle.

I e-mailed Firefly. I'm guessing I'll hear back tomorrow. I will post the response as soon as I get it.

Actually it shouldn't be a problem if you come together. I asked about this cause I was giving a ride to someone and we had 2 spots and 1 car. They said just show together to get your 2 spots together since its first come first serve.

Hey Ed,
Yes, you'll need to bring another vehicle. As our policy states, we would like every camping spot to have a car present. This is to ensure that we have a smooth check-in process and that we are checking all spaces correctly and efficiently. A vehicle on site is what verifies to our check-in team that the site is being occupied and they know not to assign it to another customer. We are not allowing a single car to have 2 decals, therefore if you would like to get two sites next to each other be sure to have your vehicles arrive consecutively at check in. I apologize if this causes an inconvenience, but at this time it is our policy.
See you in The Woodlands!

This is a pretty significant inconvenience for our group as well. We paid for 2 sites, but one person in our group of four cannot get there until Friday evening. While I don't doubt that it was in their policy's fine print somewhere it sure was not very clear. I also don't understand how it can be that difficult to designate a camping spot without a car. Will make the best of it for sure, but pretty poor form on Firefly's part in my opinion.

I agree....does this only apply to GLAMPING? We have 3 people but purchased 2 spots. Reason being that our 3d doesnt have a car (which I would imagine is a fairly common situation really). Coming in a big 4X4 truck would not afford enough space for two tents coolers, etc so we bought the extra site...given that our 3rd would still be without the necessary...I really do hope that this only applies to GLAMPING and not the normal camp sites.

they said from the start only 1 pass per car. In general camping it's stated that there is SPACE for one car or SUV per site. That's a bit different than one car necessary per camp site. Regardless, we will abide by the rules and enjoy a music filled weekend!! EACH CAMPING SPACE INCLUDES: 3 nights/ 4 days camping for up to 4 people Premium and limited on-site location 10x30 ft. space Space for one tent and one standard car or SUV Access to The Post communal area including: General Store Cell phone charging stations Live Entertainment

So based on what I've gathered today keeping up with posts on their FB page they are no longer requiring a car to be with each camp site. This would seem to indicate we can get two lots together if we bring both passes in one car. Thoughts?

Could not have possibly worked out better. We pulled right in and with only a little explanation to the team scanning stickers we were able to leave a spot open next to our car and use our two spots side by side.
