They still could play Sat. or Sun., I'm sure they have multiple sets of gear by this point. I wouldn't count them out, but I wouldn't say they are highly likely. Everyone seems to think the picture of the Dogfish Head was a clue for FUN. Sasquatch looks good except for Macklemore as a headliner. That song just hit the radio here and it is painful. I'm surprised by the high billing for Lumineers and Imagine Dragons. Neither have had a second single on the radio and it's not like they have been on the festival circuit a while and paid their dues, I think there are plenty of bands should be billed higher. Undercard looks great though. Turn on the tv and you'll hear an Imagine Dragons song. They are everywhere even if you don't realize it's their song.

Tame Impala just expanded their tour dates with what looks like gaps for Bonnaroo and Firefly Seen them twice already. They would be a crucial addition, especially since no other east coast festival has pulled them yet. I would expect Tame Impala. Doesn't make much sense playing Philly then not making a stop at Firefly

Don't even get me started about Imagine Dragons. I absolutely loved their set last year at FF and then saw them in Philly with Awolnation, but man they have completely sold out!!! I can't even keep track of how many commercials, sit coms, musicals, etc their songs are on!!! Such a shame....

So my wishlist headliners are: Radiohead, The Foo Fighters, Beck.
Realistically I'd say we get Mumford and Sons, Phoenix, and Beck.
I realize Beck is a stretch, but the Killers didn't headline any other American fests last year (I know of) and it'd be awesome if Firefly kept an exclusive headliner going every year.

I'm expecting to see Solange on the lineup. She's playing Sweetlife and Sasquatch.

Realistically I'd say we get Mumford and Sons, Phoenix, and Beck. If they could actually score Beck, I will make sweet love to the lineup on National Chocolate Mint Day!

I'm not entirely sure they could swing Phoenix but it is possible. Depends if they do other US dates around that time. They don't come across the sea that often. Beck tours very rarely but it could be possible. Could fit the solo headliner if they stick with that concept (Jack White).
After seeing other announcements, clues, and recent tour dates I am thinking the top three will be Mumford or Avett Brothers (slight chance of getting both), FUN., and The Strokes. I think the Strokes will be their exclusive band. I'm think the next few on the list will be Pretty Lights, Vampire Weekend, Lumineers, Kendrick Lamar, Passion Pit, Dr. Dog, Dispatch, Public Enemy, MGMT, and Tegan and Sarah.

so this is the rundown so far:
Confirmed: Dispatch Capital Cities Zedd
Very Likely: Tame Impala
Speculative: Mumford & Sons Postal Service (Red Frog booked Ben already, and PS dates end in NYC on 6/14, suspiciously close to Firefly.. also potential answer to Facebook clue) Death Grips (supposedly confirmed for Bonnaroo) Fun. Phoenix (overseas but available) Passion Pit (to atone for last year's last minute dropout) Fleetwood Mac
.. any number of Sweetlife, Governor's Ball, Bonnaroo, or Kansrocksas artists..

Where were Dispatch, Capital Cities and Zedd confirmed?

They were confirmed on pages 3-5 of this board, which I think was largely gathered from artist direct confirmation inquiries through inforoo..
also I think Atlas Genius was confirmed.. all 4 of those confirmations do absolutely nothing for me though.

What does everyone think about the most recent clue. Multiple people confirmed that it points to Eddie Vedder. Would he be top billed if it is a solo performance?
I guess a local magazine reported there will be 30 more bands this year and only 1 repeat band. I think it's safe to say that band will be Imagine Dragons. They are at every non jam festival that has been announced.

Pearl Jam was locally rumored for 2013 right after last years festival. It could point to an Evening with Pearl Jam which is what they are doing at Wrigley Field.
